• Currently working on enterprise orchestration projects centered around Run My Jobs, Databricks (jobs and notebooks), Coralogix, SSIS, and our own custom Blazor/PowerShell integration layer. The Blazor work is being built agentically with Claude Code.
• PowerShell is our main language; we built an extensive custom framework for validating ETL pipelines across many connected tools.
• Previously worked on Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and “Big Data” ETL maintenance with Snowflake, Vertica, Redshift and DuckDB, plus C#.NET with Entity Framework and LINQ.
• Led teams on the Okta SSO and multi-factor authentication integration, a French language translation project, a PowerPoint Slide Builder application, and SOX / SOC 2 compliance projects.

• Prosaurus: a social media and personal productivity platform live on the web, Android and iPhone, with zero marketing, zero AI-generated slop, and no invasive algorithm. The apps are built primarily with Claude Code under my direction; I set up the Kubernetes, Ansible and Terraform infrastructure by hand.
• Also building an AI prompt improvement and orchestration tool, and a WordPress-based automated website scrubber to remove malicious code and data.
• Former projects: a low-latency live music collaboration service, an Ethereum crypto mining operation, a digital-display-embedded drinking cup with marketing capabilities, and product maintenance of an Electronic Health Records (EHR) application.
• Wrote and published a book on Amazon, Minimum Viable Programmer, and took part in the Profitable Python Podcast with Ben McNeill.
• Handled all of the legal work to form the company, as well as its accounting and tax reporting.

Senior Software Engineer

A mobile messaging platform that scales 1-to-1 customer relationships using a combination of AI and human natural language classification to increase sales conversion rates.

• Built version 2 of the messaging platform using React and Python/Django, allowing an exponential increase in message throughput.
• Built the training system our team in the Philippines used to train our chat bots with IBM Watson Language Classification; the platform grew to deliver hundreds of millions of automated chat messages daily.
• Implemented Apache Kafka, AWS MSK, Avro schemas, Confluent Schema Registry and Django Channels to create an event-driven micro-services layer, alongside AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, Redis, PostgreSQL, Docker and Terraform.
• As employee #9, worked with every member of the founding team to help grow the company to over 60 people, and played a key role in hiring core developers and a new CTO.

• Led a team of over 20 software developers, QA and network administrators, delivering integrations with insurance companies and major automotive names such as Toyota.
• Facilitated the integration of Python and PHP code using Apache Thrift RPC calls, writing example code, helping debug issues, and coordinating with the mobile development team.
• Created the first Angular.io front end, embedded seamlessly into the existing application, and helped migrate it through Angular version 5.

Lead Software Engineer

A conversion tool integrated into retailers’ e-commerce sites, letting consumers buy products with manufacturer-certified installation at the click of a button.

• Created the company’s very first mobile app (Android and iPhone) using PhoneGap, Backbone.js and jQuery Mobile, letting contractors across the nation register and receive contract work.
• Created a digital asset management system on Amazon S3 for our 4th generation visual programming language platform.
• Built a Laravel API serving both the mobile and web applications, reducing the need for home-grown API solutions.
• Directly managed one developer and led a team of up to 4, setting up local environments and onboarding developers.
• Maintained git repositories on BitBucket, managed tickets in Jira, and set up Jenkins for automated builds.
• Created wireframes for, and oversaw an overseas team building, an AI chat bot using IBM Watson.

• Developed and rolled out a system encouraging the purchase of alternate products, leading to shorter delivery times, less work for customer service, and more profitability.
• Added functionality to both our PHP/LAMP stack and MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express, Angular, Node.js) applications to streamline internal product purchasing.
• Created and maintained EDI systems and customer service portals connecting our retail application to our Microsoft Great Plains ERP backend.

Software Development Manager

A fully integrated Electronic Health Records (EHR) and billing application used by about 500 small and mid-size medical practices.

• Built a new Surescripts prescription-routing integration using PHP/CodeIgniter, so practitioners could electronically create and update prescriptions for all of their patients.
• Led a team of 12 developers through the Medicare/Medicaid EHR Meaningful Use Stage 2 (MU2) certification: 40 modules, each live-tested by a government-certified proctor.
• Worked with HL7 and SOAP integrations, and moved the team from SVN to Git-based workflows.

PHP Developer II

A flash-sales e-commerce retailer focused on higher-end fashion, acquired by Nordstrom during my time there.

• Created a new returns processing system used by hundreds of employees and millions of customers.
• Introduced Test Driven Development and unit testing with PHPUnit into our Zend Framework based infrastructure, enabling quicker identification of bugs.
• Integrated PayPal’s Bill Me Later service and 3-Delta into the payment architecture, and implemented new shipping methods including USPS, Newgistics and OnTrac.
• Added a dynamic product sorting tool for daily or even hourly merchandising changes, and an RSS-based “Deal of the Day” feed for third-party marketing.

Application Developer / Tech Lead

A software design agency creating web and mobile applications, as well as physical hardware, for over 60 companies.

• Created the bulk of the front end (using jQuery) for the Viper Smart Start vehicle tracking application, a GPS-enabled device deployed to the Hertz rental car fleet and sold at stores such as Best Buy.
• Managed overseas teams and wrote code for about half a dozen new applications, including social media and mobile gaming apps.
